This year's theme for the Gunnison County Democratic Party's Annual Dinner was Unity. In addition to sharing successes over the last year and discussing the upcoming 2021 election, 5 candidates (and one stand-in) presented on their platforms to beat Rep. Lauren Boebert in 2022. As secretary of the party, Laura introduced them with a speech urging unity and strong leadership.
"What we need is leadership at all levels that represents democracy, the democratic process, truth, fact, science. We need those things so that people are taken care of in our valley and in our nation."
